点评：Went to celebrate birthdays last night. The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly, from the valets to the host to the servers. The menu is a little small, worth looking at it in advance if you have any picky eaters.
We got a lovely window table, which was appreciated with sunset due in an hour. The sun was bright and they had shades down so you could track the progress without being blinded.
We started with the smoked swordfish pate, it was amazing. She had the octopus starter and a Farmer salad, I had the scallops. The octopus portion was large and very smoky, but the sauce was quite spicy. The scallops were excellent, but were only 4 medium sized ones, in an excellent sauce. Came with carrots and not much else. For dessert they brought out chocolate mousse with a candle as their treat, which was delicious and appreciated.
Water glasses were empty far too often. There were plenty of staff around, and it’s nice to not have to signal for refills, especially at The Ritz. Prices were actually a bit better than we feared, which was nice. Valet parking is validated and is $15.
