点评：We ordered an item to share that we were unfamiliar with. When our dinner came it was delicious! But, when our bill came, our $18 item was billed $24. Of course I brought this to the attention of the hostess and she had the manager come to see our problem.
He told us what we were served was not the item I suggested we ordered. He in fact was the person that took our order. So I showed him the menu and reminded him I had pointed to the unfiliar item on the menu. He said, "OH I didn't hear what you said." Then I reminded him ghat I had pointed to it, and he said, "I couldn't see that." There was a long hesitation and I felt awkward that because he misheard me and could not see the menu, somehow I was stuck paying for z much more expensive item that I didn't order.
( I have to say, whatever that was that he brought us was very tasty)
Be careful when you order to be sure the waiter understands your request. Maybe write it down?
