A very nice-looking place, but everything else was pretty average
Timber House Brewing & Lodge的点评
点评：Timber House Restaurant and Brewery, attached to Timber House Brewing and Lodge, is located on Main Street near the south end of the small mountain town of Chester. My wife and I had a late lunch here after a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park in late April 2023.
On our visit my wife ordered fish tacos and I opted for a barbecue brisket sandwich. My wife pronounced her fish tacos to be “just OK,” while my brisket was on the dry side and definitely needed the accompanying barbecue sauce. My fries, on the other hand, were hot and tasty.
Both the exterior and interior of the restaurant were attractive, and there was a decent-sized bar area. The dining room was clean and the prices were fair. The service, while friendly, could have been more attentive. All-in-all, we were able to fill our bellies in a comfortable environment at Timber House, but it was otherwise an unremarkable experience.
