点评：After a great day at Legoland, our kids were expiring and due to traffic we had about an hour drive back to the Hotel in San Diego. We didn't have a dinner plan and really wished we passed a restaurant on the way out of Legoland.... and just as we walked through the exit gates we see the "hungry?" sign and to visit Bricks... and we're SO glad we did!!!
Bricks is an epic buffet that I was REALLY happy with. It is $28, but as I said, it had a LOT. I live a low carb lifestyle, so am often left bored or a bit unfulfilled with the options, so this was like Christmas! Sure... it's not the "best" food in the world... but it was the best for this very moment. EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. Literally I was so happy and it was the perfect end to our day.
Food aside, they have Mini Fig Costume characters and I think that may have been the highlight of the day for BOTH my kids! They got to hug them and high five them and still talk about it! There are tons of things to look at in the restaurant as well. I don't know... it just FELT like a family vacation here... maybe it made me nostalgic for Disney World vacations of old... but it just hit the spot in every way.
I'll depfinfelty be returning.
