I had the worst experience imaginable at BJ’s Brentwood during what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. The manager on duty was shockingly rude and literally shouted at a customer in front of everyone. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior for someone in a leadership position.
Instead of diffusing the situation or listening to concerns calmly, she escalated it and made the entire atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. This manager should not be in customer service — let alone in a managerial role. Honestly, she needs serious retraining or should be removed from the position altogether.
If this is how management treats their guests, I will never return to this location again — and I strongly urge others to be cautious before visiting. It ruined what should have been a joyful and memorable evening.
All locations of BJ’s, do better. A sincere apology won’t be enough — take real action with your staff!
