Fabulous day in Anza Borrego.

点评：The 3 of us booked a private one day tour of Anza Borrego. We went to slot canyons at Vista del Malpais and Calcite. I have a bum knee, but Mark made it possible for me to get up some steep pitches and back down them safely. It was thrilling and I felt so safe. We had a fabulous lunch at 17 Palms, a very beautiful oasis. We then headed to the Badlands which were jaw dropping! Our guide, Mark, was the best … kind, informative, easy-going, and just a pleasure to be around. He listened to what we wanted to do and made suggestions to make it even better. The only thing that could have made it better would be a higher suspension vehicle like a Wrangler. The “ride” would have been more exciting in a more open vehicle and we would have been able to go to more areas of the park. That said, the three of us will be raving about this experience for years. It was a large day for all of us and we would do it again in a heartbeat.
