Placa Major的点评
点评：Pollenca is no doubt one of the most attractive small towns in Mallorca. It is a pleasure to walk through its alleys with houses in traditonal architecture and for a break there is the quite big Placa Major with its many cafés. The square is a creation of the mid-19th century, replacing the much smaller Placa Velha on the other side of the big church.
The Esglesia de Nostra Senyora dels Angels, the patroness of Pollenca, sits above a staircase at the northwestern side of the Placa Major. In the upper part of the sandstone facade is a quite big rose window. In the square with mostly flagstones are to be found benches and several plane trees, that now in winter have lost their leaves. On an weekday in winter it is rather quiet, but on Sundays, when a market takes place, it buzzes with activity.
