Caffe Grande Abaco的点评
点评：Unfortunately, my recent visit to Café Grande Abaco in Uppermill was extremely disappointing. What should have been a relaxing experience turned into an uncomfortable one due to the chaotic atmosphere. I have been visiting here for a number of years but since the takeover, it has become like an unruly bar in Oldham Town Centre from the early 2000’s- appalling! Loud singers and drunk bodies everywhere at the weekend.Not classy.
The café was overwhelmingly loud, not due to a busy service but because of a group of unruly customers—seemingly friends of the owner—who dominated the space- weekly occurence.
They were shouting, smashing glasses, and at one point, plates were dropped and broken on the floor without much concern. At one stage, customers were even shouting across the room for more champagne because this was f@@king warm and the owner wouldn’t serve us this!
Café Grande Abaco may have potential, but unless the new owner takes serious steps to improve the atmosphere and environment, I wouldn’t recommend it to those looking for a pleasant or relaxing café experience- it was vile, go to Caffe Grande Veloce instead.
