Broken A/C, Room Shuffle, and Poor Service Response
Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis Marion, AR的点评
点评:We booked a room with two doubles and even checked in online the day before. Yet when we arrived at 10:30pm, we were given the very last room available — the one with a broken air conditioner. Despite being set to 66, the room temperature was 84 degrees. We were moved to a king room on the first floor directly across from the breakfast kitchen. Thankfully, the rest of our party’s flight was delayed until the next night, otherwise three of us would have been squeezed into that single king bed. The next morning before leaving for a funeral, we had to pack up again and move into a double room, which was what we had originally reserved.
As Lifetime Platinum members, it was especially frustrating to be told multiple times, “well, you booked with points.” Does that mean loyal Marriott members should expect the worst rooms? That loyalty is penalized instead of rewarded? Oh, and we are out the full amount of points for those nights despite not getting the room we requested (so much for the guaranteed room at Platinum level) and having to move the next morning.
