Climb Mount Kilimanjaro – #1 Kilimanjaro Tours for 2026 & 2027的点评
点评：We have booked 6 day Marangu route Kili trek with AFRICA NATURAL. The initial communication with Godfrey was somehow clumsy but after he called me we have cleared the most important questions I had.
The disaster, however, happened on the day just before we had to start the trek. He texted me that we must pay $ 880 per person additionally for park fees, accommodation, guide fees and rescue fees. Note that this happens right after the free cancelation period guaranteed by Viator has expired. At first, I thought I did a mistake wile booking and I misunderstood the inclusions in the initial cost of the experience. However, after checking the ticket, I noticed that both accommodation and "Entry/Admission - Mount Kilimanjaro" (see the attached ticket). I have told Godfrey I will not pay again something I have payed for. His answer was that the information in the ticket was a mistake that has been later on changed in the Viator system. Our tickets, however, have been bought with the above conditions and I was totally reluctant to accept the above changes in conditions. The thing that made me very upset is the fact that Godfrey new about that mistake but he did not mentioned noting about that until the free cancelation period has expired.
While communicating on that matter, Godfrey has offered different degrees of discount, like we were bargaining, but I was too upset of what he did. I have contacted directly Viator to explain them the situation and ask them for cancelation and refund. After informing Godfrey, they told me they will process the cancelation.
Overall, the experience was terrible. We had to cancel an experience that has been booked several months in advance. We had to look for a new operator less that 24 hours before the start of the trek. Fortunately, everything went well with another operator and a rice much lower that the initially asked by Godfrey (what we have payed + what he has asked for in the last moment).
