点评:Without doubt, we received a warm welcome upon arriving here, with friendly badinage that continued throughout our stay. The hotel has great potential if only management paid more attention to its raison d’etre.
One block away from the town’s main square, with all its bars and restaurants, as well as the domineering cathedral, Hotel Killa couldn’t be more central. The hotel itself is of a quirky higgledy-piggledy design, evoking the Mediterranean, with the most wonderful collection of cacti of all shapes and sizes in the gardens – dozens of them, all well cared for. It’s a shame that the care vested in the cacti isn’t replicated in the hotel.
Yes, our room was big, but it could have been cleaner, especially in the bathroom. There was a problem with lack of hot water on our first night, and though quickly resolved, it should never have happened – in 50 years of travel and hundreds of hotel stays, it’s the first time this has happened to either of us in a hotel claiming to be 4 star.
The breakfasts, enthusiastically served, were carbohydrate heavy. No yoghurt, not even a fried or scrambled egg.

Hotel Killa
