点评：As we approached we saw the people spilled out on to the pavements. The bar was 3 deep, the singing loud & most entertaining.
We had a sea view room, with comfy bed & pillows. A walk in shower with plenty of hot water, good towels, shower gel, & shampoo.
A few nasty niffs in the room. I kept smelling cigarette smoke in the bathroom, although we don’t smoke. Then it was burnt garlic 🤢 bread. I suspect both of these smells came from the Indian restaurant next door.
No noise from the hotel, apart from bedroom doors opening & closing. However, there’s a massive fan in the yard below which seemed to be on more than off. This, I found comforting as it probably blocked any outside noise. However, it suddenly stopped & that was when I could hear all the racket from the Indian restaurant below. There was much banging, hammering, drilling, scrubbing, & scraping. OK, so I thought they would be cleaning up for an hour. But this went on from 10.30-1pm. Just as I thought I could finally sleep their overflow began to drip, LOUDLY!!!!
Breakfast was lovely. Although there’s an awful lot if you have The Hunter. Staff worked hard to look after us & we appreciate that. But I would not return due to the noise.
