Azul Mediterranean Restaurant的点评
点评：I lost years off my life waiting for the food. $75 for a 5 course meal that includes 3 drinks...with a view. Sounds great but it sure was an experience.
First we had to wait for an escort at the main lobby, they checked our room number ( we were staying at the maho beach side of the resort), gave us wristbands and the works. Took about 30 mins before we were even seated at our table.
The drink menu was very selective and it took forever for them to make any type of cocktail.
There was an appetizer, soup, salad, entree and dessert options that we were to choose from. Five...course...meal...so why is it that after i ordered 4 courses the waitress cuts me off and says " will that be all"? Umm no...I would also like to tell you what I would like for dessert.
The vegetable tempura and the roasted peppers chicken soup were really good. The seafood papedella pasta would have also been tasty if I hadnt waited so long for it that by the time it came I wasnt even in the mood to eat anymore.
The salads were bland. The scallop appetizer came with ONE scallop.
They forgot to bring me the dessert and when it finally did arrive (cheese plater) it consisted of a couple of pieces of hard cheese and some club crackers thrown together on a plate.
The service was soooo slow and half the servers looked like they didnt want to be there.
Not really sure what kind of view I was supposed to get since it was pitch black outside. A couple of buildings with lights? Im sure the view is much better during the day but there are plenty of restaurants around. I suggest you skip this one.
