点评:EXCELLENT dining experience in every way. We stayed at the Sonesta Ocean Point, and this was part of the all-inclusive package. It was our FAVORITE spot for lunch and dinner by far. I have an immune disorder that makes dining out nearly impossible, and they were SUPER ACCOMMODATING with joy and expertise. They were happy to see us return even though I was a "difficult" client. If we ever go back to St. Maarten, returning to Azul will be a high light.
My favorite meal was the lamb with bok choy, but their menu changes day to day and everything we had was superb. I had never had white sweet potatoes, but they were a real treat on the breakfast bar and with lunch/dinner.
Heads up, the Sonesta hotel information says you MUST have a reservation for Azul and you MUST call ahead or you can't get a table. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG. We called ahead and the service (not the restaurant) said they were booked. We decided to walk over anyway and it was EMPTY and we were seated right away. DO NOT CALL FOR A RESERVATION, JUST GO. There are always tables.
