点评：Lovely lunchtime treat after our visit to Floors Castle. We spotted The Terrace Cafe when we visited the beautiful walled garden and had a quick view of the menu before we ventured down to the castle, which is only a 10 min walk away and we had parked the car at the gardens anyway, so one we would be back.
Upon entering the cafe, we were greeted warmly and asked if we wanted to sit outside as it was a warm sunny day. With a view like the walled garden, we were pleased we did as the view was lovely and each table had a parasol to protect us from the sun. We could smell the Wisteria, which was absolutely stunning.
We both ordered the lamb burgers, which were really tasty and the chips - wow. I decided to take the fennel coleslaw out of the burger as it was delicious with the chips. I couldn’t resist one of the tasty looking cakes and had the lemon & coconut cake recommended by a guide at the castle. This was delish but pleased we shared a slice as I don’t think I could have managed a full piece! Highly recommended place to dine.
