点评：Went for early lunch as the last time we were there we sat outside under a lovely brolly, my daughter has an autoimmune condition and needs to avoid too much sun. Whilst being escorted to our table we were told briskly “Ladies you will need to sit at a small table there is no umbrella”. This was rude waitress number 1. Waitress 2 when we explained that we were not going to be long said no problem and we moved to a table with a brolly. Whilst waiting for our order rude waitress number 3 - perhaps the manager barked at us as she strode past- just so you know if it gets busy you will have to share. The hostility and harassment was unnecessary- there were two large tables with 2 people sitting at them., did they get the same message? They had also left so plenty of space( i wonder why?). On leaving waitress 3 was glowering and hostile.. i also overheard her berating a member of staff - professional ? Having worked in hospitality for Rocco Forte this small minded parochial treatment of customers is quite frankly poor. £35 for a panini, salad two portion of wedges and two drinks is not exactly cheap - but the food was lovely. Why should small groups not get a brolly and be harassed?
