点评：Came here because of all the good things I’ve heard, but left feeling the most disappointed in a meal in a long time.
Had to wait 30 mins for our order to be taken, whilst there was lots of staff and only 3 other tables in the restaurant. This is the longest I’ve ever waited for an order to be taken, even at restaurants at full capacity. Granted, there seemed to be a lot of takeaway orders, but that doesn’t mean ordering the food takes almost as long as them cooking it. Made it feel like it was purposeful in hopes we’d buy more drinks.
When the food did come, it was very underwhelming considering the reviews. It wasn’t bad, but it is exactly the same as every other curry house. You get curry with bland oversized chicken chunks in it and no other veg, and the rice has frozen mixed vegetables in it. My partner had the pilau rice alongside, and they were very generous and garnished it with a single pea and carrot chunk (again, from a bag of frozen mixed vegetables). Considering it cost ~£50 for two curries, two rice and cokes, I expected way more from it.
We spent around an hour and a half here, and myself and my partner are very “in and out” kind of people and most of the time was spent waiting for them to take our order. On top of that, they put a 10% service fee on top of the bill for the privilege!
