That's not all Ffolkes!!
福克斯酒店的点评
点评：We had stayed at The Ffolkes before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We managed to book the same room as before in the main building. It's huge!!! Well furnished and fitted with a number of antiques scattered around. The bathroom too - huge!!! Loved it, and the aircon on the hottest weekend of the summed far was very good.
My only criticism if I can call it that is the question of identity. The main building is adults only and the room theme classic. Outbuildings accommodate children and dogs (although I'm not sure if it is at the same time?). There is a large play area with tables to eat and drink at. There is also something called Container Golf. This appeared to be a number of shipping containers joined together with some kind of Crazy Golf going on inside. There is also a Spa being built on-site too. It just appears to me that the various parts are at odds with itself.
In saying this it doesn't distract from the fact that I like it. It is a friendly environment made more so by the staff. Although the majority of the serving staff were young, customer service was brilliant. Please don't think me ageist but their attitudes were great and they put you completely at your ease.
Food was good. In the evenings they have a street food menu. On Sunday it was Indian and I was very pleased with the menu and quality. Breakfast was buffet style and a good selection offered. They also cook a variety of omelettes to your like and fresh pancakes too. Just take your time.
The location is close to the North Norfolk coast and the Sandringham Estate. There are lots of good walks around. Also try Houghton Hall and Castle Rising. That said The Ffolkes makes a great base!
