点评：We went at La Cène on 6 July 2023. Nothing to say about food but for great things. Plates were all delicious and well balanced. The location is nice. On service: less than a minute after our arrival, the sommelier aggressed us, stating that we did not mention in advance that we had a voucher for a tasting dinner with wine pairings. Actually, we booked a table about five months earlier and in our first email to the restaurant we mentioned we had such voucher. He insisted for several minutes that we were wrong even though my boyfriend showed him evidence on his phone. He even started scrolling up and down on my boyfriend’s phone without permission. To me, he came close to my face with an aggressive tone stating that “it was not necessary to be nervous”. Eventually, he desisted and we could start our dinner. This episode completely ruined the atmosphere and we felt completely uncomfortable for the whole dinner. Cherry on the top: he forgot a wine pairing. It is a pity what happened because food was really tasty. But for us it is definitely an adieu instead of an au revoir.
