点评：We were on a ship's excursion to the monasteries of Meteora and stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 3 large coaches of people (about 110 in all) so it was crowded and they served us en masse with everybody getting the same stuff. A small green salad, far from what we know as a delicious Greek salad!! Next there was a piece of moussaka (eggplant and ground beef dish) which was very non descript and far from memorable. A third small portion of something else was served (several chunks of tough beef over a cous cous like base). This was followed by a portion of overly sweet baklava. What tasted like watered down rose wine came in a large pitcher and wasn't very good! All in all, less than appetizing and certainly not memorable. It's a shame because we passed by many smaller attractive local tavernas with outdoor spits that looked oh so much better!!! And any one of them could have comfortably handled one coach with 30-35 people and provided an authentic flavorful Greek meal.
