点评：Have always loved Marcellino. Good food, great pasta and the occasional fun, live music experience. That is why I chose it, for the first time tonight, as my birthday venue. I thought it would be special. I WAS WRONG.My husband made it clear when he reserved our table, that it was a special birthday celebration. My son repeated, when he was the first to arrive, that it was my birthday as he introduced himself to the greeter and later to our waitress. They both said that they knew it was my birthday, which would leave one to believe, that they, in turn, would acknowledge it in some way to our table. NOPE. Super awkward moment when we were done with dinner and our very stoic waitress asked if we would like dessert. Both my husband and son mentioned previous birthday references, to which the waitress said, “Oh, we don’t do anything about that. I guess I could bring you a cookie.” Uhhh. No thank you. Too little, too late. Why did your reservation person, greeter and waitress all acknowledge it was a birthday without indicating that you be doing nothing about it? Just plain weird and out of touch.
