Excellent Service, Great Food - Too Expensive For What Was Received

点评：I ate at Bobby-Q while in the area. The aroma as you pull into the parking lot area and can't be beat. In fact I was originally going to eat at a neighboring place, but it pulled me in.
I received above average service from the staff here and it was truly very good. The menu consists of what is to be expected for a BBQ place. I know everything is getting more expensive, but I thought the prices here were a bit high. Appetizers were all between $15-$20, Sides $6 each, Sandwiches $20/avg and BBQ platers ranging from $25-$38. Tack on one $9 draft beer or even $4 soda and up there pretty quick. I ended up going with the Brisket plate which was brisket and 2 sides for $30. I chose BBQ beans and Loaded Baked Potato (extra for the loaded as to be expected!).
The food came out quickly and a piece of corn bread was dropped off at the table before the food. I did eat the corn bread, but I am not a cornbread fan so I can't really say if this was spectacular or not. The Brisket was very well cooked, very tender and both styles of BBQ brought out were excellent (regular and hot). The amount of brisket received for $30 I thought was pretty small and some of it was a bit too fatty. The BBQ sides were average but also was small and I'd say less than a Dixie cup worth of beans. I ordered a loaded baked potato but got loaded mashed potatoes instead. Not near as desirable in my eyes but I didn't feel like sending it back either. , They were pretty decent. Again, not a large portion received. I know I'm not the skinniest guy, but I was not really stuffed at the end of platter.
Overall, what I had was pretty good food wise and service was excellent. However, the cost to portion ratio seemed a bit off to me. As a result, I'm not sure I would make this the first or regular place for BBQ, but would return.
