2 Stories Restaurant的点评
点评：My wife and I were attracted by the location and the positive reviews and therefore made a reservation for two people at 7 pm.
Driving there it's been somewhat confusing to locate the restaurant and asked by phone for help. A young guy came out and confirmed the right address as well as the limited little parking places in front of the restaurant. No friendly welcome. The building is modern, interesting and tasteful equipped. We were placed in a sort of a saloon together with another couple. It was said that we have to wait a couple of minutes. No special excuse, no special explanation. After half-an-hour a menu was presented, no explanation, no comment, no advice. Some stuff passed from time to time without explaining the waiting automatically. We talked to the other couple until 9 pm (!) till we got a table after heavy reclamation. No special excuse. Sitting down at the table we were told, that usually the close soon. Before we ordered a starter (beetroot -carpaccio) and two mains (fish and duck). A wine recommendation could not be given by the waiter (!). To our surprise the food was served immediately, first the mains and then the starter (!), again no explanation. We decided to reject the starter. The food itself has been quite fine so far.
We con't understand what was going on there with the organization. The waiters were incompetent and unusually uninvolved, no way what we are used in SA. A disaster may be the right word.
