点评：Shabby chic, a bit bohemian, a bit hip…? I’ve still not quite landed on a definitive noun for this place, but no matter. My Niece’s strong recommendation for it was our good fortune and despite a 30+ year age gap, I’m now able to do likewise. The environment concurrently stimulates & relaxes. It has visual appeal, aesthetic interest and the vibe is chilled yet positively energised. Artefacts from yesteryear blend with modern twists. It’s comfortable in all senses of the word. And a million miles away from the homogenised ‘chain’ cafes littering ‘the West’s’ commercial high streets. There’s an emphasis on health throughout the menu - freshly squeezed juices & quality raw materials - albeit what was delivered was rich & nicely indulgent. Presentation was excellent. Taste was excellent. Value was great. Satisfaction was 100%. Final mention to Courage, our Waiter. He’s the perfect Ambassador and represents all that makes for a successful hospitality business - proactive, highly engaging, knowledgable, enthusiastic, professional…and all with a nice hint of banter. Altogether memorable !
