Bubezi Safaris, Tours & Transfers的点评
点评：On a scale of 1 - 10 ( 10 being the highest ) I would rate Bubezi a 12!! Ranger Andy puts together fantastic trips and Andy and Lwazi are perfect guides and hosts. This is my 3rd trip with Andy and my 6th safari with him. Our 1st 2 trips ( 2019 and 2021 ) were 2 part trips - the first part was the Cape Town/Wine Country area of South Africa and the second part was a safari with Ranger Andy in Kruger National Park. Obviously, we were very impressed with Andy in 2019 since we joined him again in 2021. His knowledge of the animals is so extensive not to mention the experience that he brings. He is more than a guide - he is a Ranger AND he has a doctorate in animal behavior. He does so much more than simply point out the animals. He tells stories, both about African myths , i.e. - Acacia trees talking to each other and about current animal research, i.e. zebras air conditioning systems and elephants communicating with their feet. All of this gives another level of depth to a safari with Andy.
And now we have just returned from our 3rd trip ( 2023 ). This trip was much more extensive, comprised of 4 safaris. Each different from the last. We started in Botswana at Chobe National Park with game drives and a river cruise. We then went to Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe, flying first to Victoria Falls ( spectacular ). At Kariba we embarked on a 3 day river boat safari. Very different seeing all the animals come to the water. From there we flew to Tanzania. Our 1st safari in this country ( 3rd for the trip ) was at Ngorogoro Crater where we stayed at a lodge in a rain forest. Ngorogoro offers a unique setting with a concentration of herds of animals that have inhabited this crater for centuries. Then on to the Serengeti ( Swahili for endless plain) for our trip's 4th safari- for 3 days. And what an endless plain it is! Seeing the migration leaves one breathless And Andy and Lwazi surprised us with a hot air balloon ride over that endless plain followed by a wonderful bush breakfast. These 4 very different safaris were complete in providing us with different settings and absolutely spectacular viewings of virtually every animal that you can think of. Certainly the Big 5 - but so much more than that.
Andy then had us wind up our trip at, yet again, an entirely different experience. We flew from the Serengeti to Zanzibar for 3 days. Here we stayed at an incredible resort with our private accomodations on the Indian Ocean. To be able to relax and recoup after our adventurous safaris was a perfect way to end our marvelous tour. A perfect wind up and wind down.
Ranger Andy and Lwazi gave us the gift of memories to last a lifetime. The adventures! The settings! Everywhere the incredible accommodations! And the gracious and oh so professional hosts!!
Again, on a scale of 1 -10, Bubezi is a 12! Highly, Highly, Highly recommend.
