You don't always get what is advertised. Photos on their webpage are out dated
Serendipity Eco Trails的点评
点评：There is SO much inconsistent feedback on Google reviews it is actually laughable. Some say it was great 2 years ago and others say it was a huge disappointment 5 years ago.
So for the record I was on site from 7-9th February 2025. All I can say about the accommodation is that it is in a serious state of degradation and disrepair.
No electricity (the cables feeding to the transformer and from the transformer to the Villa appear to have been stollen/ripped out quite some time ago.
No refrigeration (due to no electricity) but the fridge had been stripped of all the shelves and the freezer has a lid that is held down with a few pieces of granite to keep it closed.
No hot water (due to no electricity) but also the donkey is a not easily accessible due to all the junk lying around and only a few pathetic branches from the bush which needed to be broken down to be able to use them were available to heat the unit. The house itself doesn't appear to have seen a bucket of soapy water and a mop for ages. Our shower on the middle floor had old dried up left over bars of soap on the windowsill and the tiles in the shower could do with some Handy Andy and some elbow grease.
We were given 4-5 small bags of ice on Friday afternoon and that was it. The dustbins were full of rubbish and had not been cleaned. The firepit/braai area was full of ash. There had been absolutely no effort what so ever to clean or tidy up the place before our arrival. The open air bath room cannot be used as the screen is torn so offers no privacy and the bath was full of rotting leaves. There appears to be absolutely no supervision of the cleaning staff. The photo of the Villa kitchen on their website shows a fridge, kettle and microwave and clean shiny floors but believe me this is not the case currently.
What is advertised is certainly not what you get, if you are planning to visit Serenity Eco Trails i would strongly suggest getting some time and date stamped photos from the owners first to avoid disappointment so at least then you can pack accordingly.
I wont be holding my breath on this one as it also seems like the owners only respond to favorable reviews and ignore the rest.
On the good side however the hikes are really nice, well marked and have some beautiful scenery with cool clear pools to swim in.

不过，好的一面是，徒步旅行真的很不错，标记清晰，风景优美，还有清凉的游泳池可以游泳。
