点评：I stopped at Cilantros for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The setting is very nice, the service attentive, and the food excellent. The menu includes all the classics you would expect from a South African restaurant, but also some creative additions that make it stand out.
I particularly enjoyed an unexpected iceberg salad, beautifully crisp and generously covered with blue cheese sauce and bacon – simple but very well done. For my main, I chose a large tapas-style dish of lamb and hummus, which was both delicious and satisfying. A Cape Classic by the glass was served perfectly chilled, which was a nice touch.
What really makes Cilantros special is that the owner is present and engaged, speaking with customers and clearly keeping a close eye on quality. It’s refreshing to see this level of personal attention, especially when compared with the chain restaurants nearby.
Verdict: A great spot for lunch with a personal touch, excellent food, and a pleasant atmosphere.
