Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve的点评
点评：You have to pay to get in, it was about 10Rand each, so not expensive but I've never paid to sit at a beach before, but like most things in SA its a fenced off enclosure. The police patrol so its all very safe. There were lots of families there. It was super hot when we went, easily in the 40s. If you cant get a tree, bring shade, you will need it. There are bbq (or braai in SA) spots everywhere, and the shop sells wood. Great place for a bbq. Massive sand dunes on the other side of the river where people were playing. The river is not deep, about up to my knee in places otherwise ankle deep, so lots of little kiddies were happily playing there. You can walk down the road pass the shop, pass the accomdation chalets to the beach, but the water looked rough so we opted to roll around in the river to cool down. We enjoyed it, its a nice place to be. You could easily relax and spend the whole day there, just take lots of food for the bbq, shade and some music.
