点评：The service is spot on, the value is excellent and we enjoyed as fine an Italian meal as we have had since leaving New York years ago. Richard and Diane, owners, chef and manager are lovely people who make you feel like family. The pasta is done perfectly, the Marsala dishes are excellent and the calamari fritti is uniquely prepared and delicious.
What we particularly like about the food is that it is all seasoned subtly and precisely. You taste each aspect of the recipe, not just seasonings or salt like so many Italian restaurants. The flavors come through from meat to vegetable to potato or fish. Try the Pappardelle a la Pietro for something very soft in taste and unique with a Tuscan flair. The Marsala dishes are true to their Sicilian heritage, flavorfully savory yet not at all overpowering, with melt in your mouth cuts.
The menu is clearly designed to offer a taste of Italy and focuses on interesting treatments of select classic dishes.
As the saying goes….”now that’s Italian.”
