点评：I think it was a great nature experience. The weather was perfect during the hike: not hot, not cold, with a mild wind and cloudy sky. The trails are well-defined. There are intervals of uphill and downhill, which helps to rest the legs from the steep hills. The coordination of the hike was great—everything was on time and exactly as described. Price was reasonable. The food was enough and high in protein. I am a female solo traveler, so I requested a female guide with years of experience in this mountain. She speaks a good english and is very kind. Always protecting me and serving me well. I felt so safe and comfortable with her. If you are a female solo traveler, I recommend this female tour guide, her name is Do. Photos with her can be found below.
Fansipan Mount offers a fantastic view of Sapa town. Its altitude makes you feel like you are in between two skies, with clouds below and above you. I enjoyed taking the cable car back to Sapa town in order to enjoy more of the Mount and it's coffee shops. Initially, I refused the idea of riding that car, but then I saw the rest of the trekkers missing what Fansipan Mount could offer in addition to reaching its top. So, if you want to challenge your body, reward it with a nice coffee cup and sweet bread at the end, I would recommend you stay on the top after the summit and pay for the cable car ride (approx $35 USD). Bring cash with you as the coffee shops take cash only.
Overall...great hiking trip. I would do it again.
