点评:Wow! This restaurant / bar is truly incredible. I first stumbled upon DokiDoki when I was visiting Santa Teresa in October of 2023. I walked down the road with a friend to find out they had actually just had their grand opening. I met the owners who were such genuine, beautiful people and welcomed us with open arms. I came back to Santa Teresa this March and I made sure to drop in and try their food as they mentioned they would have a food menu upon my return. Honestly, I was absolutely blown away in the best way possible. The food, drinks, and vibe are truly unmatched here. I really love the design of this place too. You can feel how much love and detail went into it, making it a really special place to take a loved one, friend, or date for a perfect night out whether it’s for food, drinks, or both. The mixture of natural elements, plants, even smells (they had these diffusers at the bar giving off the most delicious aromas) are amazing. They always had the best music playing whether it was a DJ or just a really chill, electric jungle playlist going on.
The food was Michelin star worthy. There was not one thing on the menu that I didn’t absolutely love. Usually I don’t even like shrimp, but the Aguachile…it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tried IN MY LIFE. Do not miss out on this dish. The sweet and spicy combination...my mouth is watering as I type this. The ceviche was delicious and super fresh and the homemade chips, yum! My friend and I ordered both sets of tacos and couldn’t decide which we liked better - the barbacoa or the birria. The barbacoa had a hint of cinnamon making it both sweet and savory. The birria reminded me of a carne guisada taco which are my absolute favorite. The flavors from both of the taco dishes were so good! Then for dessert, they usually have a special option depending on the time you go (obviously I made quite a few visits in the month of March). All the desserts were delicious but my favorite were the churros. Oh my gosh…they were melt in your mouth good. Now the drinks - I’m not a big alcohol connoisseur but I turned into one here after trying a variety of their mezcal cocktails, haha. They aren’t just drinks - they are an experience in your mouth. My favorite was this green mezcal cocktail with cilantro and egg nog, ughhh! It was the best cocktail I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back to my favorite place in Santa Teresa for all the good food, drinks, and high vibes!
