点评:Being in Manuel Antonio, I just didn’t expect much from a sushi restaurant. It took me very little time to understand that Costa Ricans eat pretty much the same thing everyday for each and every meal. They love it. Chicken. Rice. Black beans. Salad. Plantains. Some variations exist but for the most part it is that. The point is, sushi is big something a Costa Rican would have much interest in. So Ensō exists purely for the tourist coming from somewhere outside of Costa Rica. I went with my son for a late lunch, not too many people there at that time (as they shouldn’t be). I met the owner and his brother. Ordered a wide variety of things and really enjoyed everything. Significantly better than I was assuming it would be. Great people, good vibe, good food. Definitely check it out if you aren’t sure how to eat “Casado” for every meal! Or just looking for that sushi fix. Also, I then started noticing advertising for this restaurant everywhere. They care. They are hustling. They are making good food, especially since it’s really not for their pallets. A+ fellas!
