点评：We met Jungle Man at the last stop of what turned out to be an epic adventure around Costa Rica. Not only was he an excellent guide and professional, he is a true gentleman and the embodiment of ‘Pura Vida’. He welcomed my daughter and I into his home during his night tour because he wanted to show us his vision of Costa Rican farming. He fed us because he knew we hadn’t eaten since breakfast and brewed the most gorgeous tea with leaves from his land. The tour can only be described as a ‘true’ rainforest experience. Unlike other night tours we joined, his completely immersed us into the land. We encountered a myriad of creatures from strange insects to snakes to monkeys coming in to rest for the night.
This was the second experience my family had with Jungle Man. The first was a visit to the local indigenous tribe during which we learned about a culture alien to us, but both fascinating and alluring. We made chocolate the traditional way and throughout, Jungle Man regaled us with interesting and funny stories. This tour ended with a swim underneath a beautiful waterfall in a natural river pool, surrounded by rainforest.
We enjoyed our time with Jungle Man immensely. I can only recommend his tours and his company. And next time we meet (I’m certain we will) I will bring the garlic bread! :)
