点评：We are a military family and I have some positives leading up and 1 on the trip itself
1awesome That they offer free fully paid for active duty Military with a paying adult on “the lady”
Trip we did was a “6” hour off shore trip… this is why it is getting 2 stars . Apparently our trip had a fill in captain so we can’t put this in the normal captain,, however we did 5 hours of riding and less than an hour of actual fishing , if I wants to go on sight seeing cruise ( navy here , get plenty water trips as is ) I would have take. A dolphin cruise for a few bucks , not 100’s $$.
Out of 25-35 people there were 7 stringers with 3 or more fish if that.
We know it’s fishing not catching but for many being a 1st experience, not a good one and with private charters not remotely within the realm of reality to afford makes it less likely or appealing for people to want to go offshore fishing again.
End on a positive note - All the mates were really helpful and did a great job minimizing tangles and freeing lines as quick as possible, telling us best chances where to catch, my family of 3 had the most fish with 10 all vermillion snapper and decent size.
