点评:Monday night @ 6:00p - no reservation needed and walked in with my teen for dinner. Lots of menus to choose from: beer, wine and cocktails, regular a la carte and a “taste of sa za 3-course” dinner.
We had the stuffed peppers appetizer ($14) - delicious Sunday sauce and not spicy.
He had: baked rigatoni ($26) with chicken ($6). It was like a chicken Alfredo with broccoli and cooked well with great flavor.
I had: small Caesar salad ($7), and carbonara ($27).
Our server was very friendly, made great recommendations and attentive. If I have one small (very small) note, it’s that the entrees didn’t come out at the same time. My son was well into his meal before mine arrived and I could tell it had been waiting - likely because about the same time the restaurant got very busy. My food was still hot and very good.
It was a pricey meal without drinks ($102 after tip), but the quality was very good and in a downtown location, I could maybe understand why. I would definitely return. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, so even if you’re a solo traveler, there are lots of seats at the bar and facing the open kitchen where you can feel comfortable.
