Waffle House的点评
点评：There is evil in this world.
It is a strange, horrible and new feeling to me that I received last night when the employees at this Waffle House served everyone but the one person who was different, (it was I, yes, me). I was ignored for quite some time to place an order.
I grant you they were busy and it was very loud. Customers were talking very loudly and happily. The cook seemed to know and had several conversations throughout the time I was there with many of his friends who were being served and eating at the counter and at several tables.
There was talk between them of their activities and what they had been up to during the day. There was much happiness, friendliness and laughter among the cook and his many acquaintances who seemed to be happily eating.
It is a weird feeling, like being on the "other" side of a bullying joke, invisible, like an evil alternate reality.
After over an hour waiting for my food, I left without being served my order of eggs.
By choice, I decided to pay them before I left, for what the food would have cost, had I ever received it.
I thanked them without getting my order of eggs and added a tip for the waitress. I thanked them and left without my food which the cook seemed to not even be willing to start to prepare. The cook looked directly at me after the waitress, doing her job, shouted out my order to him. "Four scrambled eggs over light". The cook looked directly at me immediately when the waitress placed my order.
I want to say in advance to those reading this, I forgive those I speak of, for what they do.
I paid them before I left this Mobile, Alabama I-65 Airport Road Waffle House, for food they, (he, the cook), never delivered or even started cooking . The waitress was not willing to help me by asking the cook a second time, to please prepare my food. She stated that there was nothing she could do.
What does that mean I wondered. Of course there is much she could have done. He, the cook, was no longer busy cooking and had prepared everyones food but mine.
They, (mainly he, the cook), had the strangest look on his face that I would pay and thank them for not even being served as all his friends had been ...even after i had asked them several times about my food order.
I thank them because they did me a tremendous favor to know what to expect from these particular workers at night at the Waffle House on Airport Road, off of I-65 Interstate in inner city Mobile, Alabama.
They did me a favor and it was worth the cost to be taught something I never felt, learned or dealt with in this manner before last nightl Evil is truly in this world. It is sad that it is so. I forgive him. I do not recommend this Waffle House to anyone, no matter who you are.
I would have paid triple though to think this evil did not exist in this world.
