点评：Drove over an hour to eat the pizza place that has been declared the best in Alabama. Our group of five arrived around 2:30 and were promptly seated in a side room. Our waitress was friendly and took our drink orders. We got the garlic knots for an appetizer and everyone got a side salad. My wife and I ordered the salad that closely resembled an antipasto. It was the best thing we ate. One couple got a Stromboli and a pizza. Their daughter got a Detroit styled pizza with pepperoni. My wife and I ordered a make your own pizza. My half had the hot Italian sausage, pepperoni and these little red peppers. My wife’s half had pepperoni, ricotta and red onions. The other folks in our group seemed to enjoy their food. My wife and I were disappointed at the amount of toppings and sauce. Needless to say we weren’t happy with our meal. The total came to almost $70! We’ve eaten pizza all over the world and our favorite restaurant was Lombards in NYC. They know pizza!
