点评：Sam's Deli in Homewood continues to provide really good Middle Eastern items as well as simply "American fare" at very reasonable prices. His tabouli is excellent, especially when made that day. His falafel is authentic Jordanian-style and its made from scratch -- plus, it gets formed and dropped in the fryer when you order it. In fact, everything he cooks is fresh and cooked right in front of you. if you choose to wait in the small area where you place the order -- the kitchn is "open." There's a lunch special that includes the sandwich, excellent fries and a fountain drink for $9.95 plus tax, and everything is made to order. He's got a nice outdoor courtyard, a large covered area and a small tv room. Parking is easy in the free municipal lot less than a block away. I eat there two or three times a week and have been a customer for many years. Sam is almost always there, doing the cooking and chatting with you as you wait. If things are quiet, he'll even sit and visit while you eat. This is a great, simple place with burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, salads, etc.
