LuLu's Gulf Shores的点评
点评：LuLu’s is a really fun and unique spot with plenty to offer beyond just the food. Even though it was raining during our visit and we didn’t get to enjoy everything, it was clear that on a nice day there’s a lot to do while you wait—outdoor games like cornhole and beach volleyball, a full bar, and even an arcade and gift shop. The free water stations were a thoughtful touch. The arcade did seem a bit pricey, but it’s a great option to keep the kids entertained.
The restaurant itself was outstanding. It has a fun, beachy vibe with colorful décor and is set right on the river, offering great views of passing boats. The menu features a wide variety of seafood and local favorites, along with some creative dishes that fit the coastal setting.
I had the BLT with fried green tomatoes—delicious and unique in the best way. We also enjoyed a side of fried okra, and my wife had a well-prepared seared shrimp dish she really liked.
That said, it is a bit overpriced for what you get, and the wait times can be long, especially during peak hours. Still, the overall experience, atmosphere, and service made it worth the visit. Definitely a spot to check out when you’re in Gulf Shores—just plan ahead and be patient!
