点评:A couple of weeks ago I was at Tiqri a bit unwell and at the end of a long day at work. I just wanted to eat some curd rice and head to my room. I placed an order for it with Gautam who was attending my table and requested a really small portion as I was eating solo and didn’t want to waste a big portion. Seeing my fatigue, Gautam offered to get me a bowl of curd rice from the buffet so it would be quicker and when I was done, didn’t even charge me for it. This thoughtful gesture of ensuring I got my comfort food as quickly as possible and that I didn’t even have to wait for the bill because I was visibly exhausted made my day! I was literally in and out of the restaurant in 15 mins - priceless efficiency when I could hardly keep my eyes open!
And today, at dinner at Tiqri, my husband asked for bhelpuri at the chat counter. He discovered that it was not on offer, but the executive chef, Nitin, overheard him ask for it and made it himself from scratch, after magically procuring some puffed rice for an item that wasn’t even on the menu! Needless to say, the husband revelled in being pampered so & thoroughly enjoyed the specially made bhelpuri!
That’s the Taj for you, staff at every level always empowered to make guests feel at home.
