点评：戸定が丘歴史公園内にある小さな博物館です。明治時代に設立された松戸徳川家、及び徳川慶喜家縁の品々が展示されており、江戸幕府が閉じられた後の明治期の徳川家の歴史を知る上で貴重な博物館と言えます。
しかし、敷地自体が小さく展示数もそれ程多くないため、全てを観て回るだけであれば20分程度で済みます。この博物館そのものの入館料も安めに設定されていますが、戸定邸との共通入館券を購入すると、両方の施設を利用することが出来るのでよりお得かもしれません。
展示品のほとんどが明治以降（一部幕末の品もあります）であることもあり、ほぼ全ての展示品の保存状態がいいのも特徴です。展示スペースは博物館の1階のみで、出入り口には段差等も無いため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用することが出来ます。
