点评:I have eaten here in the past but that was some 20:years and I recall they were noted for excellent pizza. Today it appears not only to be larger than I remember, but the menu is more diverse. My friend ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and I will say, they were very tasty. For lunch, friend ordered pasta with a Southern “Jambalaya” theme. I ordered meatloaf.
The first thing I noticed on my friend’s dish was how white the pasta was; not much Jambalaya sauce. My meatloaf was smothered in a “tomato jam.” Sides of mashed potatoes and southern long cooked greens (kale). Tomsaynimwas less than impressed is an understatement. The thin slices of meatloaf were grilled and showed grill marks—which I don’t really have a problem with but the loaf itself felt “old” (previously frozen I’d guess) and had very little flavor. The tomato jam didn’t do it for me, at all. I scraped most off. The potatoes were bland and too wet, and the kale—yuck.
My friend was not thrilled with his dish either. The best part of the meal were the salads; they were fresh and tasty. The prices as mentioned elsewhere were fairly high and the food didn’t live up to the price at all. We won’t be back.
