点评：We have lived in Alexandria for nearly 20 years; our friends rave about this restaurant. So, we tried it for the first time and it was an utter disappointment. Completely mediocre bar food served and prepared as if it were a diner. Tired dark dingy interior desperately in need of a complete makeover. A busy bar scene, outdoor seating, and a dark side interior. Ultimately, I don’t understand what the hype is all about and why our friends keep coming here. This will definitely be our last visit unless there is a complete overhaul of food quality. Too many great restaurants in this town to choose from for this prime location to have such mediocre and disappointing food.
I went to college in New Orleans, and I assure you nothing about any of these New Orleans themed food items comes even close to being genuine. The oyster Poboy sandwich was completely lame. The salads were soggy, poorly prepared and improperly prepped. The chili seems to be straight out of the can. Bottom line: this is basically a diner charging Alexandria restaurant prices. Definitely not worth the visit.
