The Summit Restaurant的点评
点评：Traveled for our 35th wedding anniversary to get away and stay at Shangri-la hotel. We were recommended The Summit Grill by the hotel and ultimately chose this restaurant to celebrate because they brag about the spectacular view. We booked the reservation far in advance and confirmed many times but once we arrived all dressed up, we were thrown up against a wall. I asked if we could have one of the many open tables with a view but the hostess told us that they were reserved for "special club members" and that we wouldn't be done in time for those people to arrive. The food was okay but we were ignored over tables of members that were more important. Nobody seemed to know it was our anniversary even though I had made a reservation for the occasion. In the end the food was good but did not overcome the snobbery and elitism that ran the joint. FYI Several tables by the window were still open when we left. Be advised that the view here is only for the locals who belong to the club and not for guests of the hotel.
