Hit and miss- but convenient to Athens and OU

点评：This is an older hotel, relatively close to OU and the heart of Athens, walkable though it may be a bit of a stretch for some.
The room was adequate, showing its age in wear and the common areas as others remarked were not in great shape and often smelled of heavy cleaner and years of use. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I stayed two nights over a week and the first stay was not great as there were some sort of scene in the parking lot and some loitering in the back and loud music by guests and their friends. The second stay I was not having to deal with that and Im told the 'guests' had moved on. I dont know why they put me in a relatively empty hotel next to some inconsiderate 'parties' of guests. The hotel should do more to discourage people from loitering in the lots and some IM sure were not guests of the hotel.
I might or might not return to this hotel, maybe it was a one off and given its location and cost point some tradeoffs are to be expected.
