点评：To say Diamond Deli is great would be an understatement; phenomenal is more apt of a description. This place is like a traditional east coast deli that serves up some of the best sandwiches anywhere. I do me anywhere, because I eat sandwiches all over the country and in several other countries and Diamond is definitely now at the top of my list. If you don’t believe me just check out the line out the door on any day around lunch time.
The pastrami and corned beef is excellent, as well as any of their specialty sandwiches. Chad’s “ Wait til you hear this story” combines both corn beef and pastrami and a wonderful hot mustard that will make your mouth water for more. Mom, come get me, I’m sick is smoked turkey and bacon (2 amazing complimentary flavors) that is heaven.
There is always a daily special sandwich that is worth trying and may even surprise you. Also, they serve chili and soups, just ask what’s cooking that day. I guarantee that no matter what you try, you’re gonna enjoy it. Oh and don’t forget the cakes at the front of the deli. Chocolate seems to be a big favorite of many guests but I really love the carrot cake.
The prices are quite good with many sandwiches between $8.50 - $11. For one of the best sandwiches you’ll ever eat, that’s a fantastic price, especially since lately it seems like everywhere you eat costs $15 for anything. In fact I just made a trip out to the west coast and everything I ordered ended up in a bill of $50 or more for just my wife and I
The staff works incredibly hard and will not make a mistake on your order, which tells me they all must have been there for a long time and have serving lunch down.
