RESTAURANT IN HOTEL: Miligratos - 3rd Floor with views of the city and the bay
The dinner was great! The service was even greater!
I asked the Server, Gladys, for a recommendation. She recommended the Chef Special - Pork Belly Lechon, which included slow-roasted Pork Belly, Lemongrass, Pico de Gallo, Homemade Liver Sauce (a gravy), Plain White Rice, and Roasted Garlic White Rice. It was excellent. Pork Belly was cooked perfectly - crispy skin and juicy meat. It was more than I could eat by myself. I only ate half and took the other half to go.
I then asked Gladys for a dessert recommendation. She recommended Halo Halo. I was a little skeptical that I would like it, but I trusted her judgement, since she ACED the Port Blly Lechon recommendation. I am glad I trusted her. The Halo Halo was delicious! Halo Halo is Ube Halaya Ice Cream with Leche Flan and and sweet Filipino Jellies. It was my first time trying Halo Halo...and let's just say, it won't be my last!
I drank iced water with the meal. Total price was ₱1,297.32 or $22.74. A bargain for 2 meals (dinner + leftovers).
Glady was very polite, coureous, and attentive. She took care of the whole meal and provided exceptional service.
I will be back and I will definitely request Gladys be my server again.
