点评:Haven’t been to Nice in France but this restaurant is a great way to get a taste of what this famous coastal city has to offer. Starting with the classic Salad Nicoise (out of this world), the team delivers a command performance. The Burrata with hazelnut crumble melts hearts with its mildly savoury-sweet accents. Equally sublime are the Provence-style escargots with buttery herbs stuffing.
Impossibly rich and falling off the bone tender, the crisp skinned Duck Confit sent us to gustatory heaven when partaken with the silky smooth potato mash and winsome ciambota (hearty Italian vegetables stew).
The rare find of Cannoli filled with mandarin orange cream and dark chocolate cream is not to be missed. Tiramisu also gets a look-in here although I find the sweetness level is barely discernible.
Service is attentive and personable; the team constantly checking in to ensure we’re happy with our meal. It may be early days yet but it looks like Nice will give many fine restaurants a run for the money and set to gain a devoted following.
