点评：I was browsing the directory of Pavilion Bukit Jalil (PBJ) Mall when I saw the Burger & Taco name. It piqued my interest & since it was a public holiday, I decided to pay a visit to the eatery. Since they are located in the PBJ Mall, their operation hours is from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Two of my most trusted friends agreed to join & we met at the restaurant.
When I arrived, there was already a queue at the counter for takeaway orders. We went straight in & got ourselves a table. Another friend arrived much later. We had to scan the QR Code in order to see the menu & proceeded to order. The friend who came with me agreed to share our food so that we could try out more products if we are still hungry.
We ordered the “Sweet Emotion Burger”, a traditional beef patty burger topped with caramelised onions, streaky beef bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese & mayonnaise. We also ordered the “Chicken Tacos” which comprised of ground chicken, cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, lime aioli on a pair of crunchy corn tortilla. For sides, we had the crispy onion rings. Since we had half of each, we were still hungry. Thus, we proceeded to order the “Fish Burrito”. It looked like fish fingers & hand cut corn tortilla chips added to lettuce, tomatoes, cheese sauce, Chido sauce wrapped in toasted wheat tortilla. All 3 were extremely delicious. We would have ordered more but we were already so full. The Strawberry Milkshake was thick & filling while the sweet Iced Peach Tea was refreshing.
We were all impressed & had asked whether it was a franchise. Much to our surprise, we were told that it was local & the owner was in the kitchen. Thus, we had asked to be introduced to the owner. Puan Atikah came out & spoke to us. We were singing praises for the taste & quality of the food which left her extremely happy. She was nervous at first because she had thought that we wanted to make a complaint. She had also given us the privilege of taking a group photo together.
We will definitely come back to explore the menu. The Bukit Jalil branch is their 2nd. The first outlet is in Cyberjaya. Do check them out for a good meal!
