点评:This pub has so many good things going for it. The food is good, the wait staff is friendly and the owner/manager stops by to check at each table. He even wishes you a goodnight as you leave. So why 3 stars.
We went for a St Patrick’s Day weekend dinner. The menu was limited to just a few dishes. The appetizers were just a house salad, a few soups and Irish spring rolls. No bar pretzel, which they are known for and we heard people asking for it. The dinner menu had the standard Irish fare and listed a corned beef sandwich available only until 2pm. When we asked about it, we were told it wasn’t available, yet we saw it brought to at least 3 tables. No Irish soda bread, no rye bread for the table. Dessert..NOTHING!
There were so many missed opportunities here and I don’t understand why. Put bread on the table, offer your signature appetizers and dishes and dessert….ice cream with Baileys and whipped cream would have , at least, been something. Cobbler, bread pudding…??
Maybe food is not their main concern, but then you shouldn’t call yourself a restaurant. When your dining room is packed at 7:30 and emptying out by 8:30 on a Friday night, something is not right. Would I come back for dinner, I don’t think so, and that is a shame. I like this place.

也许食物不是他们主要关心的问题,但你不应该称自己为餐厅。周五晚上,如果您的餐厅在 7:30 就挤满了人,而到 8:30 就空无一人,那就说明有些不对劲了。我会回来吃晚饭吗,我不这么认为,这很遗憾。我喜欢这个地方。
